Visitor's Book - We love to hear about your stay with us!

Our Visitors Book, which is located within the cottage, contains superb feedback, along with helpful hints and recommendations of where to go during your stay at Bewerley Hall Cottage, here are some examples:

"Lovely short break in high quality accommodation. Lovely lounge, log fire and cute dining room! Perfect short break. Many, many thanks for your hospitality."

Paul and Louise

"Can but echo the sentiments of others in this book. A superb cottage in a lovely location. Nice touches included a bottle of wine and beer in the fridge and a nice cake to welcome our arrival. We have done some superb walks, drank too much ale and eaten way too many nice meals. Never had a bad meal but particularly liked the Birch Tree near Glasshouses, the local sausages are also worth a try. Thanks for a lovely break away Sarah."

April and Michael

"A lovely place to stay! Sarah was very welcoming and informative about the local area. The cottage is excellent with every possible amenity. We have had a lovely few days, went to Fountains Abbey and spent most of the day there which was beautiful. Got the local taxi to the Sportmans Arms hotel in the evening and had an excellent meal there in a lovely setting. We plan to return!"

"As cottage veterans we can endorse all the comments on the quality of this cottage. It is beautifully appointed. Add to that the delightful welcome from Sarah and all the treats awaiting us, and no wonder we were set up for a good week. We know Pateley from before and the shops provide high quality food and drink, we must give a special mention to Elliots, such friendly people. The Italian restaurant Ollies is highly recommended , a real treat. The weather has been varied but you can usually get a half day walk in, one way or another. Yorkes Folly is well worth it and the views of the Dale are superb. Scar House Reservoir is a bit bleak but a good walk. We managed one buzzard, ten herons all together and swallows mobbing a bird of prey, perhaps a Peregrine Falcon. All in all a cracking holiday. Thank you again."

Bob and Sandra

"A very last minute break at Bewerley has been great! Sarah and Tim, thank you for all the effort you have gone to in order to make this a special place to stay, your attention to detail makes ALL the difference! It was lovely to be met with such a warm welcome from Sarah, the local info was invaluable also. Things we enjoyed most, great walks from the cottage with Maddie, Ollies Pizza, a day at Ripon Classic Car Rally, buying great local produce in Pateley Bridge, visiting Harrogate (Bettys and great individual shops!) and most of all the atmosphere and comfort of returning to the cottage each evening. We wish you every success for the future and would highly recommend a stay here. (if we were the secret Hotel Inspector we would definately give you a 5 star rating!)"

"We have had a great week. The cottage is fab, you have definately developed a Sarah and Tim look and feel to the place, but you have made the decision difficult for next year, Ashknott Cottage or Bewerley Hall Cottage, what a dilema! Sarah your hints and tips re walks and food was as usual spot on. We went to Scar House Reservoir, Yorkes Folly and Brimham Rocks and we did the local walks you recommended. Pateley Bridge is delightful. Thank you Sarah and Tim."

"We have had a wonderful relaxing week here in your lovely cottage. Thank you Sarah for your warm Yorkshire welcome and all the added extras which mean so much. No cooking to do, Pateley Bridge has it all, strongly recommend trying everything!"
